ANNUAL AHMEN MEETING: next step
It’s time to begin to think about our Annual AHMEN meeting for this year.
For the last 6 years AHMEN has held a meeting annually for the teams to compare their successes and failures. We think our continued growth and effectiveness has been, at least in part, to this sharing. Team leaders, please invite all of your team mates from any year to attend.
For those who have come regularly, you know what it is like. For those who have not come, you are missing a golden opportunity to realize we a part of something bigger than just “my team”.

Roundtable discussions on:
- Best Pharmacy practice; i.e., how to help folks without killing their kids.
- Keep God on your mission: Why and How
- Is it time to enter the 21st century with our bookkeeping?
- Why should your team participate with the AHMEN SIFAT Initiative and how to do it?
- I can’t find a doctor/dentist/pharmacist to go with me! What can I do?
- Time to split my team? How and why?
- Bio-sand filters: How to build them.

Food and Fellowship
Team/Projects Reports:
We would like for you to share both your successes and your failures and your plans/goals for future projects/missions.

Those of you who attended our AHMEN Annual Meeting last year will recall that we used a group of Area Captains to be responsible for the main elements of the meeting. These included persons to function as the Hospitality Host, Cookout Coordinator, Treasurer, Registrar, Recording Secretary, Devotional Leader, Photographer/Videographer, and IT Guru. This year we have added a Chairperson for the Round Table Discussions and a Captain of Miscellaneous.
We need to have at least one person to fill each of these slots. Of course we welcome Partner Captains if you would like to share a post. Please look over the list below and if you feel that you would like to help in any area, let me know. Be mindful that Area Captains will need to be at the Meeting both days.

AREA
CAPTAIN
Hospitality:
Procuring supplies and overseeing snack bar. Preparing morning coffee and refilling snacks.
Friday Night Cookout:
Procuring hotdogs (buns and condiments), chips, baked beans, drinks and s’mores. Build and extinguish fire. Also provide setup and cleanup.
Note Takers/Minutes:
Record minutes of the meeting for both Friday night and all day Saturday. Produce final minutes for posting on the website.
Registration:
Solicit and record attendees (names and contact information) both prior to and during the meeting, and issue name tags.
Collect Money:
Collect all fees at time of registration.
Full Package - $45
All day Saturday - $25
Saturday lunch only - $15
IT Committee:
Receive any audio/visual aids from presenters prior to the meeting. Check these and have them ready for each individual presentation.
Photographers/Videographers:Document the entire meeting experience – presentations, fellowship, etc. Candid shots.
Devotional Leader:
Arrange for Friday evening and Saturday morning devotionals, invocations at beginning of each segment of meetings, blessings of all meals.
Coordinator of Revolving Round Table Discussions:
Conduct the Friday evening round table discussions. Topics and speakers will be provided.
Miscellaneous:
Be responsible for everything else.
